Mosaic is Moving

The news is out Mosaic is Moving its worship gathering to The Stnadard at the Smith house located on 8th avenue in Downtown Nashville. August 5th will be our first gathering at the new location. We are excited about the move and our new relationship with those of The Standard at the Smith House.

We do thank the Anchor Fellowship for allowing us to share this facility for the last 19 months. July the 29th will be our last time at the current location, The Anchor, who we currently lease from is going to begin to use the facility on Sunday Mornings. So, on August 5th we will gather at our new location The Standard @ The Smith House located at 167 8th Avenue North in Downtown, Nashville.

The Standard at The Smith House is Nashville's only remaining grand townhouse from the 1840's era still standing. It has a rich history and continues to be an integral part of life in downtown Nashville.The Standard Club flourished and in 1895 they built the large ballroom at the rear of the building. Underneath the ballroom they installed what is believed to be Nashville's first bowling alley. The bowling alleys ornate tin ceiling is still in place today. The Standard Club hosted Nashville's events in the ballroom including musical and dramatic revues, fabulous dances and lavish weddings.

It is in this ballroom in which we will gather for our Sunday Worship Gathering and in the restaurant where the Mosaic Kids will do life together.
